I love the pink and purple coloured Fuchsia flowers and have two plants(bushes rather) in my home...they bloomed beautifully over the summer and still have a few flowers blooming now and then...my younger daughter used to make garlands out of them when she was little...I wanted to use different colour inks for this stamp set but had to make at least one card with the pink and purple Fuchsias...I am also entering my card in
The Flower Challenge #18...the theme for this month's challenge is 'anything goes'...
I started by creating a background for my card which would add to the charm of these beautiful flowers rather than attract all the attention...so I stamped the lace background stamp on a watercolour panel using watermark ink and heat embossed it with a super fine pearl embossing powder...I then covered the whole panel with red gold watercolour and set it aside to dry..
On a separate piece of white cardstock I stamped the fuchsia and leaves and die cut them with the coordinating dies before adhering them to my card...toi add a bit of depth,I have added some adhesive foam underneath the flowers and leaf branch at the front...
I die cut the sentiment from white cardstock as well as purple craft foam...I sponged some pink ink on the white die cut and layered them before adhering to the card front...
To embellish my card I have used some adhesive pearls and applied glossy accents over the sentiment and shimmer over the flowers...
Thanks you for visiting today...Hope you will have a lovely & blessed day ahead....Happy crafting...!!
