Pop Up Box Card - Wish BIG

I have made pop-up box cards before...and ruined more than I made because I mucked up the base design and it wouldn't fold flat like it should...and that was mostly due to wrong measurements while scoring or cutting...so I usually gave up...and then Lawn Fawn created a die for this box card....so all I had to do was die cut and assemble the base and start on the other elements...how good is that..??

This is my first card with the die which is called Scalloped Box Card Pop Up die so I kept things fairly simple and decided to use the other Lawn Fawn products I own for this one..

I started with a lavender textured cardstock for the box...you have to die cut it two times and attach the tabs to create the box...so easy...I also die cut two panels from the same cardstock and adhered them to the inside of the box...these are the panels that will provide the base on which to adhere all the elements...

Using a polka dots pearlised printed paper and another DSP with similar colours, I die cut all the panels for the outside and the inside of the card...all these panel dies are also included in the die set...so that is one more thing that makes it super easy to create this box card...

The card base was now ready so I pulled out a few of my Lawn Fawn stamp sets and decided to use the fairies and birds for this one...I stamped, coloured them in and cut them out...I placed a couple of banners and die cut clouds for the card...it didn't take too long to adhere the images to the card..I used strips of clear acetate to adhere the bird so it seems like they are flying...

The best part about this card is that it easily fits into a standard envelope as the folded size of this card is 5 1/2" X 4 1/4"

Thanks so much for your visit...I'm so glad you stopped by...Hope you will have a wonderful day ahead..!!
