The stamp set I have used today has really cute animal images and pun-ny sentiments but they are quite tiny...I have made a few cards with them before but thought to try making smaller cards which are in proportion with the images...
I started with creating the card bases for this card set...I chose a green textured cardstock and cut it to size for a 2 1/2" x 3'' top fold card...next I used a star embossing folder to emboss the front of all these card...
Using white cardstock,I die cut four small Polaroid frames....I stamped the sentiment on the Polaroid frame itself and stamped the cute animals on the inner section...I coloured them in using watercolour pencil and sponged in some green ink on all four edges of the square inner section and placed it back inside the Polaroid frame..
I have used a bit of craft foam under the Polaroid frames before placing them on the cards and my card set was ready...
While I had the stamp set out, I decided to try out a standard size card as well...I used a white card base and sponged in some broken chine Distress Ink on the card front...I then dabbed a bit of worn lipstick on an acrylic block and mixed it with a bit of water before splattering it onto to card front...
I die cut a rectangle panel for the card front and stamped the cute kitty and the sentiment using black ink...then using a grey ink,I repeat stamped the image all over the panel...
I adhered some craft foam behind this panel before adhering it to the card base and added a few silver sequins to embellish it...
