I haven't made many encouragement cards,and I wanted to try one where the sentiment is the focal point and the stamping or embellishments do not overshadow it...
I chose a lime green card base and a plain white top layer....and on the white paper I stamped a leaf stamp with electric lime dye ink...then stamped again on top of the stamped image with Twinkling h2o watercolours...this was my first try with these watercolours...they did not stick on the stamp very well but once that colour was transferred onto the paper they looked really nice and shiny while giving the overall stamped image a great effect...
I then stamped the sentiment near the base of the card with Memento Ink called Rhubarb Stalk...
