One of my favourite ways to use distress inks is to use them on an embossing folder and spraying with a bit of water to create a kind of bright watercolour effect...you really can't go wrong with this technique...
After embossing I let the paper dry and then cut it into 3 long strips and added them to an orange cardstock base and adhered them to the blue card base...
Then using the same blue cardstock I die cut a hi word and a hexagon shape around the word...I used the negative die section by attaching a silver paper at the back...a few punched flowers were added for decoration and the card was ready...
